Dating
Because of the technology of today things are faster and easier. It has consumed us. Technology is needed in the business world. It is also needed at home for banking, quick references, personal picture galley, the never ending to do list, recipes, record keeping, and music. These things are all helpful and make our lives more organize. We depend on the home computer for many things. Now you can get a date too. The computer will help you find just the right mate for you. With very little effort on your part, you fill out a questionnaire, post it and your good to go. You pick through some pictures and information and make your choice.
What was wrong with the old fashion way? Some people say they dont have the time to go out and look for a mate. Well, if your too busy to go out and meet people maybe youre too busy to have a relationship. These things do take time. It might be uncomfortable to meet someone for the first time and actually not know anything about them. You would have to take a chance that you might get rejected, but you might not. With the help of your computer you can avoid this step, and just go to the next picture. Doing this might be safer emotionally but you could be missing out on the romance of looking into some ones eyes from across the room, and getting lost in the moment. For those few minutes its just the two of you lost in each others eyes. Simply anticipating what might happen next. The act of feeling your heart rate rise just a little bit while the excitement builds slowly is something that you miss with online dating. Not knowing what will happen next, should I or shouldnt I proceed; these are human emotions. A computer cant do that for you.
Dating is a time to get to know each. If we all ready know your whole life history where is the getting to know part? The only part you dont know from a picture is if the chemistries match.
You may be taking a chance that while sitting at home looking through thousands of pictures. Your perfect mate may be being romanced by a stranger from across a crowded room.
